Welcome to the  the Save the Horses Ambassador Program.
This program is designed to harness the power of the community to find our rescues forever homes.  As a Save the Horses Ambassador, you become a beacon of hope for deserving horses and other animals.  Together we can break the barriers that stand between these amazing animals and their forever homes!

What is an Adoption Ambassador?

An Adoption Ambassador is any individual, business, community organization, church, school or other group that wants to assist Save the Horses in finding permanent homes for our rescues by utilizing their social circles, social media platforms or websites to showcase the images and bios of horses and other animals in need of a loving family or those that need fundraising for medical treatment.

Who Can Join?

Anyone that that is passionate about the welfare of rescued horses and other animals. 
  • You don't need to be knowledgeable about horses or other animals - all you need is a strong desire to help make a difference.
  • When it comes to finding a loving home, our rescues will have a special advocate, YOU!
  • ​Speak for animals that can't speak for themselves.
  • ​Membership requires at least one activity ​​​​per month to promote our adoptables.

How You Can Help?

No matter what skills you have, every Ambassador can help the horses and other animals in our care to find adopters by spreading the word to your  network of friends, family and coworkers.
  • Use your social media & referral skills to spread the word.
  • Take and post pictures and updates on the animal.  Tell everyone what their needs are.
  • If you have good writing skills - write articles and press releases about our adoptables. 
  • If you are good at video - Create a short video and post it.
  • If you are good with graphics - create signs and fliers and post them everywhere. 
  • If you are comfortable speaking - speak to groups to raise awareness about equine abuse and neglect and spread the mission of Save the Horses.  
  • If you have an idea and would like to lead a fundraising event such as a walk or a bake sale, etc., we can help you to design one to raise funds to feed and provide medical care for the 130 rescued animals that we care for.

How Does the Program Work?

YOU will select (or we can assign) a Save the Horses animal available for adoption and work closely with our adoption team to learn the animals’ personality and needs so you can speak from the heart about why they’ll be a great companion.  

No matter what skills you have, every Ambassador can help the rescues in our care to find adopters by spreading the word to your  network of friends, family and coworkers.

We will provide you a special link that you can share that contains a bio of the animal, photos and a donation button for fundraising.
Note: You don’t have to meet the rescue.  You just have to make a commitment to dedicate time to promoting them.
It requires your imagination and creativity!

Your Commitment Requires at Least One Monthly Activity
