Save the Horses appeals to the public to help save the lives of large draft mules.
GoFundMe For The Lancaster Mules
The costs are mounting for the three precious souls that we  have rescued from slaughter as there are lameness issues, pain management, veterinarian and farrier visits to check their feet, special diet and supplements to bring them back to good health.  “Plus we have to arrange for transport for the other three." Says Cheryl.  “We'll see what the #4, 5 and 6 come in with. But they will be cared for and treated kindly here.”

Help Us Help Them

These recently rescued large draft mules need a lot of love and medical care.   

They were on their way to slaughter in Lancaster, PA when Cheryl, with the help of some faithful volunteers & supporters, intercepted and saved their lives.  There are three more that we want to save and transport back here to Cumming, GA to enjoy a peaceful retirement.
