Sign up for shift(s) online, in advance so the leads know to expect you.
Save the Horses is using a new electronic system to schedule the work of volunteers.  Please sign up for your shifts through this system so that Leads will know to expect you. If you have any trouble, email Bravo at: volunteer@savethehorses.org.

Thank you for all your help!  We appreciate all of the hard work and effort that volunteers give to us freely on a daily basis!  We could not do this without YOU!
IMPORTANT:
  • Do not sign up for shifts unless you have attended our Volunteer Orientation.
  •  If you volunteer with us, please remember that you do so at your own risk.  All volunteers MUST sign and submit  a WAIVER BEFORE working on the farm as a reminder that all activities involving horses have inherent risks.  
  • Don't forget to sign yourself in when you arrive (book is in the office) and note the number of hours that you worked before you leave. 
    (Note: Volunteer hours are a resource for us and are used to help secure grant funding.)
  • As a courtesy, if your plans have changed, log in and update your status as soon as possible or email Bravo at: volunteer@savethehorses.org with any questions.

If you don't have a chore assignment, or you are looking for additional ways to help, below is a list of regular chores that need to be tackled.  Pick up a copy of these chores on the desk in the office.
