World Animal Day is a time to celebrate and appreciate our relationship with the animals that share our planet and the ways in which they enrich our lives. 


It is also an important opportunity to speak out to ensure the humane treatment of farm animals and to advocate for protection of the habitats that are home to wild animals. 


It was started in 1931 by ecologists in Florence who wished to bring attention to the plight of endangered animals. October 4 was chosen because it is the Feast Day of St. Francis, the patron saint of animals. Today World Animal Day is observed in countries throughout the world.

Join us as we celebrate the animals at SavetheHorses and around the world.  
All proceeds from this fundraiser benefit SavetheHorses.

Yoga & Horses Workshop
Yoga Alliance certified instructors will introduce fundamental postures of the yoga practice on mats and with Horses.  You will leave with an enhanced state of awareness and relaxation.
Time: 3p - 5p
All levels: $30 per student (Limited to 30 students.)

Camp with the Horses
Overnight camping in the pasture
Bring your tent, family, and friends to enjoy a peaceful night in the pasture. Enjoy hamburgers, hot dogs, drinks, desserts, and a campfire sing-along!

Time: Start at 6pm (Food will be served at 7pm) on Saturday to 9:30a on Sunday morning.
